Lyndsie Fogarty (born April 17, 1984 in Brisbane ) is an Australian canoeist .

Lyndsie Fogarty has competed in international kayak races since 2006 . At the 2006 World Championships in Szeged , she finished fifth in a four-person kayak (K4) over 1000 meters and sixth over 500 meters. The best result of the season was second place over 1000 meters in the K4 in Poznan , in the one she was third over 500 meters in Guangzhou . The 2007 World Championships in Duisburg brought sixth place in the foursome over 500 meters. In Gérardmer , the Australian four-person kayak achieved the best result with second place in the 500 meter distance. The best result before the Olympic Games was third in a two-person kayak over 500 meters in Duisburg. At the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing , Fogarty won a bronze medal in a four-man kayak over 500 meters and was sixth in a two-man with Hannah Davis .
