Lynn Loring

Lynn Loring (* 14. July 1944 as Lynn Zimring in New York City ) is an American child actress , actress and film producer .

Life

Loring began her career at the age of seven as a child actress in the soap opera Search for Tomorrow produced by Procter & Gamble . There she played the role of Patti Barron Tate from 1951 to 1961 . She also played guest roles in other television series during this time. After graduating from high school in 1961, she left Search for Tomorrow to take on film roles. In the same year she made her feature film debut alongside Natalie Wood and Warren Beatty in the film drama Fever im Blut . The following year she starred in The Language of Violence alongside Sidney Poitier and Bobby Darin . Loring continued to guest roles on television series such as Smoking Colts and Perry Mason throughout the 1960s . In the first season of the crime series FBI she played Barbara Erskine , the daughter of the main actor Efrem Zimbalist junior . Her role was written out after nine episodes.

In 1967 she married the actor Roy Thinnes , whom she met on the set of Invasion of the Vega . In the same year they both appeared in front of the camera in the British science fiction film Accident in Space . She appeared in a few television films until 1975, when she retired from acting. In 1979 she began a second career as a film producer. After a few television films, including A Dream Man on the front page , she produced the comedy Mr. Mom in 1983 with Michael Keaton in the lead role. In 1984 her marriage to Roy Thinnes was divorced. Loring's last production so far was My Friend, the Kidnapper from 1993.
