Lypowez ( Ukrainian Липовець ; Russian Липовец Lipowez ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Kiev with about 550 inhabitants (2001).
The first written mention in the 17th century village is the only village of the same name, 21.692 km² District Municipality in the south of Rajon Kaharlyk .
The village is located at an altitude of 147 m on the bank of the Rossawa , a 90 km long left tributary of the Ros , about 10 km southeast of the district center Kaharlyk and 85 km south of the Oblast center Kiev . The N 01 road runs through the village .
In Lypovets there is the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin .
