The StEG I 448-465 were the Engerth locomotives of the Staats-Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft (StEG), a private Austrian-Hungarian railway company .
The 18 machines belonged to a larger number of StEG Engerth locomotives that were procured from different manufacturers and therefore differed more or less from one another. The vehicles discussed here were delivered by Maffei in Munich in 1856. They got the first name of the scheme StEG the numbers 448-465 and the names KÖBÖLKŰT , BEGA , Szigeth , ORSOVA , Szamos , Kremnica , MOHÁCS , Szekszard , Vásárhely , LIPTOV , Földvár , Versecz , Marmaros , Pétervárad , UNGHVÁR , MENES , ESZEG and Novi Sad . The BEGA had a different kettle which appears as the second value in the table.
In the designation scheme of 1873, the machines were assigned the numbers 710–727 and the category IVh. In 1891 the remaining ten locomotives came to MÁV as TIII 3191–3200 (later TIII 3891–3900, TIII 3959–3960). From 1911 they were referred to as the MÁV series 368.
