Mäuse is an Austrian music group.

history

The band was founded in 1994 by Tex Rubinowitz and Gerhard Potuznik. The first album was released on GIG Records in 1994 but flopped. The following two albums were released on Morbid Records, a sub-label of Patrick Pulsingers and Erdem Tunakan's Imprint Cheap Records . In 1998 the band broke up.

From 2009, however, Rubinowitz and Potuznik came together again at irregular intervals for concerts. During live performances, both were now supported by Philipp Quehenberger on keyboards and Didi Kern on drums. In 2011 Angelika Köhlermann released the EP Nothing is better than mice . The new album Das Judasevangelium followed in 2013 .
