Médard Léopold Ouédraogo (born June 8, 1953 in Ouagadougou ) is a Burkinabe clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Ouagadougou .

Life

Médard Léopold Ouédraogo was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Ouagadougou on June 30, 1979 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on May 28, 2012 titular bishop of Sutunurca and auxiliary bishop in Ouagadougou. The Archbishop of Ouagadougou, Philippe Ouédraogo , donated him episcopal ordination on August 11 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Philippe Ballot , Archbishop of Chambéry , and Ambroise Ouédraogo , Bishop of Maradi .

From September 3, 2016 to July 13, 2018, he was Apostolic Administrator of the vacant Diocese of Dédougou .
