The Ménez-Hom ( Breton Menez C'homm ) is an extinct volcano made of weather-resistant quartzite. At 330 m it is the highest mountain in Brittany outside of the Monts d'Arrée massif and part of the Armorique Regional Nature Park . Many Celtic legends entwine around the mountain .

The Col du Ménez-Hom is located southeast of the mountain and, at 210 m, is the pass on the road running south below the mountain. The Menez Lié dolmen is located on the south-western slopes of the Ménez-Hom.

The municipalities

surround the mountain.

From the top of the sparsely overgrown mountain you have a beautiful panoramic view of the Crozon peninsula , the bays of Brest and Douarnenez and the massif of the Monts d'Arrée.

A narrow road leads up to the mountain top within a few meters from the south. There is a stone table there. Other well-marked hiking trails also lead up the mountain from the other sides.

Popular folklore festivals take place regularly in August .
