Mêlée is an alternative rock band of four from Orange County , California .
history
After grueling tours and 15,000 sold records of their album Everyday Behavior , which was released in 2004 by Sub City / Hopeless , big labels noticed the band and offered them a record deal. Eventually Mêlée signed with Warner Bros. Records . There they recorded videos for some of their songs, including a. The War and Built to Last .
When she recorded her major label debut Devils & Angels , there were 34 songs to choose from. The album was released on April 3, 2007 in the US and was produced by Howard Benson , who had previously appeared on albums by The All-American Rejects , My Chemical Romance , Mae , Daughtry and Papa Roach . Adam Harrison is the band's manager.
Mêlée appeared on FOX's This Week in Baseball show on July 7, 2007 , where she became known as fans of the Los Angeles Angels . Built to Last was played in the background during the interview .
On April 18, 2008, their first single, Built to Last , was released in Germany .
