location

At the Aumeister in the Hirschau in the English Garden in Munich , the Mühlbach, which is often referred to in this section as the Garchinger Mühlbach, continues the course of the Schwabinger Bach to the north, while a small part of the water over an overflow weir further east in the bed of the Schwabinger Bach remains. The regulated Mühlbach uses a route slightly shifted to the east compared to the original route of the Schleißheim Canal , crosses under the Föhringer Ring , the Güterbahn-Nordring and the Leinthalerstrasse, runs in a straight line between Libellenstrasse and Sondermeierstrasse to the north-northwest and, after crossing under the Floriansmühlstrasse, enters the site of the former Familienbads Floriansmühle . The dead straight course ends at the northern end of the former bath on Emmerigweg. The brook continues in its own, slightly winding bed to the discharge regulation point opposite the Großlappen sewage treatment plant . At this canal outlet and transfer structure at the emergency outlet ditch, water is channeled from the Mühlbach into the original Schleissheim canal in a concrete channel; this is where the actual Garching Mühlbach begins . The length of the brook is around 2.7 km.
