Mühlenstrasse 2 (Quedlinburg)
The house Mühlenstraße 2 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .
It is located south of the Quedlinburger Schloßberg, elevated above the north side of Mühlenstrasse . The building is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is listed in the Quedlinburg Monument Register. Mühlenstrasse 1 , which is also listed, is adjacent to the west and Mühlenstrasse 3 to the east .
Architecture and history
The small two-storey half - timbered house was built around 1700. Originally, there were two buildings that were combined into one residential building. The half-timbered facade was plastered around 1840. Rounded beam heads and a simple cornice profile on the threshold are used as decorations .
