Millstone (Elsbethen)

The millstone is located in the Osterhorn group , more precisely in the municipality of Elsbethen , a southern suburb of the city of Salzburg . With a height of 1059  m , the mountain in the south is one of the highest peaks in the municipality. To the east of the Mühlstein is the Schwarzenberg , the highest point in Elsbethen. The millstone probably got its name from the fact that the rock wall that protrudes from the wooded slope has the shape of a millstone .
