The M12 (Armenian: Մ 12) is a main road in southeast Armenia . The road is a branch of the M2 from Goris to the border with Azerbaijan .

The M12 is an important transit route from Armenia to the de facto independent Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh , which is part of Azerbaijan under international law. The M12 has been of economic importance since the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict .
