The M11 (Armenian: Մ 11) is a main road in Armenia , the east-west route in the east of the country between Vagahshen and Sotk to the border with Azerbaijan .

history

After the collapse of the Soviet Union in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the M11 became an important main road to the de facto independent Nagorno-Karabakh . It is the first way from Armenia to this republic, which is located in Azerbaijan.
