MMC Automotriz SA is a company in the field of automobiles from Venezuela .
Company history
The company is based in Caracas and was part of Sojitz until the end of 2015 . It was established in 1990. The basis was an agreement between factory owner CIF and the Japanese group Iwai (predecessor of Sojitz), which increased its initial equity stake from 49% to 98% over time.
In 1990, Mitsubishi Motors began producing automobiles . The plant is located in Barcelona (Venezuela) .
On December 10, 2015, the “Grupo Sylca”, also known as “Grupo Yammine”, took over the plant with around 1,300 to 1,400 employees. On June 1, 2016, Alfredo Orán replaced the previous President Yoshiro Uero, who headed the company from 2012. Another source names Masayoshi Fujimoto as president. The company has 383 branches.

Mitsubishi
In November 2016, the range included the Mitsubishi Lancer , Mitsubishi Panel and Mitsubishi Montero Sport models .
At a wheelbase of 2600 mm, the Lancer is 4480 mm long, 1695 mm wide and 1445 mm high. You can choose between four-cylinder engines with 1,584 cc displacement and 103 hp power and 1999 cc and 123 hp.
The panel is a panel van . Its wheelbase measures 2,435 mm. It is 4590 mm long, 1690 mm wide and 1970 mm high. Since the 2-liter engine makes 114 hp.
The Montero Sport off-road vehicle is 4695 mm long, 1815 mm wide and 1840 mm high with a 2800 mm wheelbase. Its V6 engine develops 220 hp from a displacement of 2998 cc.

Hyundai
In 1996, the assembly of vehicles from the Hyundai Motor Company was added. This collaboration is said to have ended in 2012 by Hyundai. Other sources, however, point to MAV - Automotriz Hyundai or Hyundai MMC Automotriz, SA as the manufacturer of the Hyundai vehicles.
