history

The Rheinstahl was the first of a class of four ships. It was launched on June 23, 1958 at Rheinstahl Nordseewerke GmbH in Emden with construction number 323. The Rhine steel drove mainly in the coal and iron ore freight business as a supplier to the German steel industry.

In 1969 Rheinstahl was sold to the Indian Dempo Steam Ship Ltd. sold and continued to operate as Jagat Mohini . In 1984 she drove briefly under the Panama flag as a charisma . In the same year it was broken up in Ulsan .

Rheinstahl's sister ships were the Arenberg , Otto Springorum and Anita Thyssen .
