MTS (originally Multitaskingsisters ) is an Austrian rap crew and consists of the four rappers Mag-D, Miss Def, Nora Mazu (formerly: Nora MC) and Oh'laek.
history
The MTS Crew was founded in early 2008, most of the members come from Vienna. After a year and a half working together with the former member BaghiRah, the debut album Multitask was released on October 3rd, 2009 , a 22-track LP that was released on March Records. Since the beginning, MTS has tried to put the still strongly underrepresented women in the hip-hop scene in a new light with the view that being a woman and rap is by no means a contradiction in terms.
Since the formation of the crew, MTS has received quite a bit of public attention. In addition to numerous live performances, such as a show act at the Austrian Big Brother Awards 2008 or an appearance at the largest European open air festival, the Donauinselfest , the crew even made it to the finals at the FM4 protest song contest 2009.
In 2011 they were represented at the FM4 Soundselection 25 with their single Hart aber Herzig , whose music video was a small success on the Internet , and in 2012 they won the Austrian Newcomer Award. This was followed in June 2012 by the release of the second album WHA'N'SINN together with DJ Amin M, from whom all Cutz came and who was also the live DJ of MTS until then. This was followed by two videos for the titles So Heiss and Die Kraft . In 2013 MTS appeared at the renowned Popfest in Vienna.
A triple EP release was last released in June 2016, consisting of 3 solo EPs by Miss Def, Nora Mazu and Mag-D.
