Maïté Bouchard (born August 24, 1995 ) is a Canadian middle-distance runner who specializes in the 800-meter run .

Athletic career

Maïté Bouchard gained her first international experience in 2016 at the U23 NACAC championships in San Salvador , where she finished eighth in 2: 12.20 minutes and with the Canadian 4 x 400 meter relay in 3:44, 45 min won the bronze medal. The following year she reached fifth place in the Francophonie Games in Abidjan in 2: 03.91 minutes. At the Summer Universiade 2019 in Naples , she reached the semifinals, in which she was eliminated with 2: 03.18 minutes. In addition, she finished fifth with the relay in 3: 34.62 min.

In 2016 Bouchard became Canadian champion in the 4 x 400 meter relay .
