The Mačický potok is a left tributary of the Novosedelský potok in the Czech Republic .

course

The Mačický potok rises in the settlement V Chaloupkách in the Bohemian Forest foothills . Its source is at the southern foot of the Damíč (710 m). The upper course of the stream leads past Damíč, Na Cihelně and Soběšice and west of the Bitovín or Stráž (694 m) to the north. At the foot of the Bitovín, the Mačický potok is dammed in the Marouškovec and Majdlovec ponds. At Bukovník the brook takes a north-easterly direction and flows through the ponds Horní Ostrov and Dolní Ostrov. The village of Mačice lies on the further course, below which the stream is dammed by the Mačice dam. Then the brook reaches Frymburk , where it is dammed in the ponds Mlýnský rybník and Sázka. From the mouth of the Kejnický potok, the Mačický potok follows its direction of flow and flows on its lower reaches to the southeast. The Mačický potok then flows through Ohrazenice and after 11.9 kilometers flows into the Novosedelský potok at Tažovická Lhota .
