The Macey Peninsula is up to 143 meters high peninsula on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth country . It protrudes into Ranvik at the level of the Rauer Islands , a side bay of Prydz Bay . Immediately west of the peninsula is the Browns Glacier .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it after Louis Edward "Lem" Macey (1911-1986), who landed here on January 11, 1957 as part of a team on the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions .
