Maciej Kononowicz (born March 18, 1988 ) is a former football player from Poland .

Career

Kononowicz began his career with the youth teams of UKP Zielona Góra and Sprotavia Szprotawa. In 2006 he moved to Amica Wronki , whom he left without being part of the first team after the merger with Lech Posen for the second.

The striker made his debut in the Polish top division on November 3, 2007 against Jagiellonia Białystok , when he came on in the 89th minute for Marcin Zając . The game ended 2-4. At the moment he plays in the second team of Lech Poznan. He was rarely used in Poznan and often played in the second team. As a substitute he won the championship in 2010 . In summer 2010 he left the club and played for teams from the second and third Polish leagues before ending his career in early 2015.
