Maderbichl is a relatively young district of the Steingaden community in the Weilheim-Schongau district in Upper Bavaria .

location

The village, which was laid out as a scattered settlement , lies in the open, just under two kilometers north of Steingaden. It extends for about one kilometer. To the west and northwest are the Braunecksee and the Hofsee.

history

Maderbichl came into being at the end of the 1950s as a collection of resettler farms .
