Madi Saïdou Panandétiguiri (born March 22, 1984 in Ouahigouya ) is a Burkinabe soccer player . The full-back has been without a club since early 2015.
Club career
Panandétiguiri joined Girondins Bordeaux in 2001 from ASFA-Yennenga Ouagadougou . At the French club he could not prevail in the professional team and was only used in the reserve team. He then moved to Belgium in January 2005 to the first division club SC Lokeren , where he immediately belonged to the permanent staff and made 92 league games in four seasons.
In the summer of 2008 Panandétiguiri moved to SV Wehen Wiesbaden on a free transfer and signed with the German second division club for two years. At the end of the 2008/09 season he was relegated from the 2nd Bundesliga with labor pains .
He then left the club and moved to União Leiria in the Portuguese Primeira Liga . There he was initially a regular player, then dropped out for half a year. In the 2010/11 season he was used more often. At the end of the season, his contract was not extended. He was without a club for half a year before joining Valletta in early 2012 . There he and his team won the 2012 championship.
In the summer of 2012, Panandétiguiri joined Royal Antwerp , which played in the Belgian second division. After a season he went to Chippa United in South Africa, but hardly got a chance there. In mid-2014 he moved to FC Pune City in India. He has been without a club since the beginning of 2015.
National team
Panandétiguiri was in Burkina Faso's U-17 squad at the 2001 World Cup in Trinidad and Tobago, when Spain and Argentina, among others, were beaten and, in the end, third place was one of the greatest successes in the country's football history. He was the defensively outstanding player of his team, while Wilfried Sanou in particular provided accents on the offensive . Two years later he took part with the U-20 national team at the Junior World Cup in the United Arab Emirates. After taking first place in the group stage, they failed in the round of 16 with 1-0 to Canada. In the official report, Panandétiguiri is once again highlighted from his team: "strong in duels and headers, good technique"
The defensive specialist took part in the Africa Cup of 2002 and 2004 with the senior national team of Burkina Faso . Both times he played the tournament as a regular player, but Burkina Faso failed as the bottom of the table in the group stage.
At the beginning of 2007 he and Fousséni Traoré played in a qualifying game for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, although only players born in 1985 and younger were eligible to play. The game won 2-0 was then rated 3-0 for Ghana.
