Magda von Hattingberg

Magda von Hattingberg , actually Magda Grädener (born October 12, 1883 in Vienna , † February 13, 1959 in Gmunden ), was an Austrian pianist and writer.

Von Hattingberg was a pupil of Ferruccio Busoni as a pianist , whom she introduced to Rainer Maria Rilke in Berlin in 1914 . Rilke's understanding of music is mainly due to her, who introduced him to many compositions on the piano and was named by Rilke Benvenuta .

She was married to the writer Hermann Graedener .
