Internationally, Fankhauser made her international debut at the 2014 Junior Biathlon World Championships in Presque Isle , where she was 15th in the individual, 33rd in the sprint and 26th in the pursuit. In 2015 , the IBU Cup debut in Ridnaun also followed . As 61st of the sprint, she not only missed the points, but also missed the chase by one place. She managed this in 50th place in her next sprint in Osrblie , and in the pursuit, she just barely missed the points as 42nd. Fankhauser contested her next race in the World Cup . At Holmenkollen in Oslo , she formed a young team with Lisa Hauser, Christina Rieder and Fabienne Hartweger , which lacked various top performers from Austria.
