Magical DoReMi ( Jap. おジャ魔女どれみ , Ojamajo Doremi , dt. Annoying Witch Doremi ) is a Japanese Magical Girl - Anime in 1999. The series was as manga adapted, film and radio play.
action
Doremi Harukaze is a clumsy little girl who dreams of becoming a witch. When she accidentally reveals the witch Majorca one day, she turns into a green witch frog. To make amends for her deed, Doremi has to become a witch, to become a full-fledged witch and to transform Majorca back. Over time, Doremi's friends Emilie , Sophie and Nicole and her sister Bibi also join her. In the second season the girls are given the task of looking after the witch child Hanna . In the third season, Momoko ( Mindy ), a new witch student, is added. In the fourth season, the infant witch Hanna turns into a 12-year-old witch student.
In addition to the witch exams and everyday school life, the girls also work in the former witch shop in Majorca . They experience a new adventure every day.
Characters
- Doremi ( 春風 ど れ み , Harukaze Doremi )
- is the main character of the story. Her biggest dream is to become a witch. After she meets Majorca and reveals her to be a witch, she has to train as a witch. At first she had a hard time with the witch exams (she was the first witch pupil to fail in the 9th grade, the easiest of all exams), but over time she was able to master them better. Doremi has a thing for steaks . Their name is derived from the solmization syllables . Doremi's elf is called Dodo .
- Emilie ( 藤原 は づ き , Fujiwara Hazuki )
- is Doremi's oldest and best friend. Emilie is top of the class and her parents are very rich. Her greatest weakness is her shyness, which is why she especially can't refuse her mother, and she also plays the violin. Her elf is Mimi (in the Japanese anime Rere ).
- Sophie ( 妹 尾 あ い こ , Senō Aiko )
- is originally from Osaka but moved to Misora with her father after her parents divorced. At first she and Doremi hate each other, but over time they quickly became friends. Aiko / Sophie can play the harmonica very well. Her elf is called Fifi ( Mimi in the Japanese anime ).
- Nicole ( 瀬 川 お ん ぷ , Segawa Onpu )
- is a famous singer and actress and also a student of Majorca's arch-rival Malissa ( Majoruka ). In the course of the story, however, she became friends with Doremi , Emilie and Sophie more and more . Her elf is called Rolo (in the Japanese anime Roro ).
- Momoko ( 飛鳥 も も こ , Asuka Momoko )
- is a school changer from the USA. She was born in Japan, but had to move to the USA because of her father's transfer to New York, where she could not speak a word of English. Over time, she met the witch Majo Monroe , who taught her English in order to make new friends. From her Momoko got her Treasure (her stud earrings before Majo Monroe died). She became a witch for exposing Majo Monroe. She appears in the third season and helps the others in the bakery. Your elf is called Nini .
- Hanna ( 巻 機 山 花 , Makihatayama Hana )

In February 2015, KSMFilm announced through a commissioned PR agency that it would publish the series on DVD in a total of four boxes with the 100 available German episodes from February 2015. On September 21, 2015, the fourth box appeared, with which the 100 episodes are published. In addition to the German soundtrack, the boxes also contain the Japanese version.
In September 2018, a complete box with 20 DVDs and the 100 episodes already published was released.

Manga
A manga was published for Doremi with illustrations by Shizue Takanashi and text by Izumi Tōdō . This was published in Japan in individual chapters in the manga magazine Nakayoshi of the Kodansha publishing house .
The Carlsen publishing house moved the manga in three volumes in German.
Trivia
The Magic Shop takes on a different shape every season. In the first season it's the Magic Shop, in the second season it's a flower shop, in the third season it's a bakery and in the final season it's a weaving mill.
