Magnus Adolph Blüher

Magnus Adolph Blüher , modernized Magnus Adolf Blüher , (born May 10, 1802 in Boritz , † 1884 in Dorfhain ) was a German Lutheran theologian and author.

Life

Blüher was born in a village near Meißen in the Kingdom of Saxony , where he attended school and high school. He then studied Protestant theology at the University of Leipzig . In 1830 Blüher became a Protestant pastor in Grünberg near Hermsdorf and in 1840 he moved to Dürrweitzschen as pastor. In 1851 he took over the pastor's office in Zschirla with Erlbach near Colditz . He retired in 1877 at the age of 75. During this time, a new church was built in Zschirla on his initiative.

Wilhelm von Kügelgen mentioned him in his work Between Youth and Maturity of the Old Man .
