Magnus Fredrik Brahe

Magnus Fredrik Brahe (born October 15, 1756 , † December 12, 1826 in Stockholm ) was a Swedish count and spokesman for the aristocracy (Swedish Lantmarskalk ) during the Estates Day of 1800 in Stockholm's Riddarhuset . After the rule of the Hattarne and Mössorna, he became the first speaker of the group that Gustav III. and was friendly towards his sex ( Gustavianerna ).

Life

Magnus Fredrik Brahe - youngest son of Count Erik Brahe (1722–1756) - was his first wife Ulrika Catharina Koskull († 1805). After her death he married Aurore Vilhelmina Koskull, a niece of his first wife.

During the Diet of 1778 he held the Crown Prince, later King Gustav IV Adolf , at his baptism and in the same year received the title of En af rikets herrar , which placed him on the same level as an Imperial Councilor . In 1794 he was awarded the highest order of merit in Sweden, the Royal Order of Seraphine . He was a Freemason and was made a Knight of the Order of Charles XIII in 1811 . beaten.

Brahe was in Paris in 1811 and in 1817 sold Wilhelm Malte I. to Putbus Spyker Castle .
