Mahamat Abdoulaye Senoussi

Mahamat Abdoulaye Senoussi (born May 5, 1952 in Biltine , † October 4, 2019 in Paris ) was a Chadian diplomat .

Life

He received his primary education at the Ecole primaire de Biltine in his hometown and attended the Lycée Franco d'Abéché . He graduated from the Lycée Félix Eboué school from 1966 to 1973 from which he graduated with a high school diploma. This was followed by a degree in electrical engineering at the University of Ljubljana in Yugoslavia . He completed his studies as an electrical engineer. He has worked in Gabon , the Ivory Coast and France and was an advisor to the President of Chad Idriss Déby .

In June 2015, he became Chad's ambassador to Germany , based in Berlin . Additional accreditations existed in Denmark , Italy , Norway , Austria and Sweden . He also represented Chad at international organizations in Vienna . He served until November 2018. On April 18, 2019, he was appointed governor of the Batha region . For health reasons, however, he was unable to take up the post.

He died in a hospital in Paris.

Personal

Mahamat Abdoulaye Senoussi was married and had six children.
