Maine Ridge is a mountain ridge in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It extends in the Royal Society Range with northwest-southeast orientation between the Matataua and Tedrow glaciers .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1994 after the University of Maine , after the Emmanuel Glacier , the Johns Hopkins Ridge and the Rutgers Glaciers in the area were named after US universities.
