history
It cannot be decided whether the Hienertal or Huenertal, mentioned in a document from Windberg Monastery in 1379, refers to Inner- or the Ausserhienthal, which is much further south. At that time, the Straubing citizen Liebhart the clerk bought a hat here .
Innerhienthal belonged to the main team in the registers of 1599, 1752 and 1785, later chairman Mitterharthausen in the Straubing regional court. In the year of conscription in 1752, the place consisted of four properties, two of which belonged to the Windberg Monastery . When the community was formed in 1818/1821, Innerhienthal became part of the Mitterharthausen community. With this it came in 1978 in the course of the regional reform in Bavaria to the municipality of Feldkirchen. In terms of church, Innerhienthal belongs to the parish of Straubing St. Jakob.
