Maire Österdahl
Maire Österdahl ( Maire Alexandra Österdahl, married Oksanen; born February 12, 1927 in Reposaari , Pori ) is a former Finnish long jumper and sprinter .
At the European Athletics Championships in Brussels in 1950 , she won bronze in the long jump.
In 1952 she was ninth in the long jump at the Olympic Games in Helsinki and was eliminated in the run-up to the 4-by-100-meter relay .
Eight times she was Finnish champion in long jump (19491956), twice in pentathlon (1951, 1953) and once in high jump (1949). She improved the national record in the long jump four times, most recently on September 7, 1952 in Copenhagen to 5.79 m.
