The Maison de Louis Pasteur in Arbois , a town in the French department of Jura in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté , is the childhood home of the famous microbiologist Louis Pasteur by today a museum. The building at 83, rue de Courcelle, has been a protected monument since 1937 ( Monument historique ).

The house where Louis Pasteur spent his youth is on the banks of the Cuisance . Pasteur had the building with his father's former tannery converted and enlarged to accommodate his laboratory. Today the original interior from Pasteur's time and this laboratory can still be seen in the house, which has been preserved as a museum.
