Maja Bedrač (born September 10, 1999 ) is a Slovenian long jumper .

Athletic career

Maja Bedrač gained her first international experience at the U18 World Championships in 2015 in Cali , where she won the bronze medal with 6.22 m. Then she won the European Youth Olympic Festival in the Georgian capital Tbilisi with 6.01 m . A year later she won the silver medal behind the British Holly Mills at the U18 European Championships, which were held for the first time there with 6.19 m . In 2017 she took part in the U20 European Championships in Grosseto , where she finished sixth with 6.26 m.

In 2016 Bedrač became the Slovenian indoor champion in the 200-meter run and in 2017, 2018 and 2020 the indoor champion in the long jump. Outdoors she became the national long jump champion in 2016 and 2020 .
