Maja Pachale (born October 18, 1979 in Schwerin ) is a former German volleyball player .

Maja Pachale started with volleyball in her home country at Schweriner SC and became German champion here in 1998 . She then went to the United States and played on the college team at the Georgia Institute of Technology for four years . After returning to Germany, she played for USC Braunschweig , with whom she was promoted to the first division in 2003 . After the team withdrew from the Bundesliga, Maja Pachale moved to the Rote Raben Vilsbiburg , where she again won the German championship trophy in 2008. She then returned to her home club Schweriner SC, where she ended her career after two more championship titles in 2008 and 2011.

Maja Pachale is the daughter of Siegfried Pachale (GDR discus thrower, 1976 Olympian in Montréal). Pachale's older sister, Hanka Pachale, was also a successful volleyball player in the Bundesliga and internationally.
