The Makarska Riviera is a section of the Croatian Adriatic coast in Dalmatia . The name-giving capital is the city of Makarska .

The Makarska Riviera stretches for about 45 km from Brela in the north to Gradac in the south. It runs from northwest to southeast and is bounded inland by the coastal mountains. Access is possible from the road in the Biokovo Mountains or via the Jadranska Magistrala .
