Makiw ( Ukrainian Маків ; Russian Маков Makow , Polish Maków ) is a village in the south of the Ukrainian Oblast Khmelnytskyi with about 3400 inhabitants (2015).
The village in the historical region of Podolia , first mentioned in writing in 1482 , has been the administrative center of the eponymous, 103.64 km² rural community in the south of Dunajiwzi Rajon with over 7000 inhabitants (2015).
Besides Makiw, the rural municipality also includes the following villages:

Makiw is located on the N 03 trunk road about 18 km southwest of the district center Dunajiwzi and 83 km south of the Oblast capital Khmelnytskyi .
