Makorty ( Ukrainian Макорти ; Russian Макорты ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Dnipropetrovsk with about 400 inhabitants (April 1, 2013).
The village belongs to the district council of Persche Trawnja and is located on the right bank of the Saksahan in the north of the Sofijiwka Rajon between the Makorty reservoir , named after the village, and Marivka . In the northeast of the village there is Sofijivka penal colony No. 45 (Ukrainian: Софиевская исправительная колония № 45 ).
In the southeast of the village is the dam that dams the Saksahan to the 13.3 km² Markoty reservoir. The southeastern district of Sofiyivka is 28 km away.
