Malaʻefoʻou (formerly Mua ) is a village and capital of the Muʻa district in the Kingdom of Uvea , which belongs to France as part of the French overseas territory of Wallis and Futuna .

Mala'efo'ou is located on the more densely populated south coast of the Mu'a district in the south of the island of Uvea , which belongs to the Wallis Islands . To the south is Te'esi , to the east is the village of Utufua . The Saint-Joseph church is the church of the village. There is also a post office in the village .
