Malcolm Barrett
Malcolm Barrett (born April 22, 1980 in Brooklyn , New York City ) is an American actor.
Life
Malcom Barrett grew up in New York City and studied acting at the NYU Tisch School of Arts . At the age of 16 he was already active as a theater actor. In 2014 he won an Ovation Award for the lead role in The Recommendation based on Jonathan Caren .
In 2000 he began his television career with a guest role in the television series The Beat. His first long-term engagement was in the short-lived sitcom Luis around Luis Guzmán . In the cinema he was seen in Tödliches Kommando - The Hurt Locker (2008) and Men Are Pigs (2008), among others. This was followed by a leading role in the series Better Off Ted - Die Chaos AG . Since 2016 he can be seen in the television series Timeless in a leading role. He is also part of the Preacher cast .
He was also active as a poetry slammer and is a member of the rap group Verbal Militia, where he performs under the name Verbal the Rapper.
