Malin Diaz Pettersson (born January 3, 1994 ) is a Swedish football player .
Career
societies
Diaz began her career in 2009 at the age of fifteen with the first division club AIK Solna . Solna's descent from Damallsvenskan 2010 was followed a year later by immediate promotion to the top Swedish league. For the 2013 season, Diaz moved to the reigning champions Tyresö FF , in which they could not finally prevail. Nevertheless, she started in the 2013/14 UEFA Women's Champions League final . After Tyresö became insolvent shortly after this lost final, Diaz was out of contract and a few months later joined the ambitious first division promoted Eskilstuna United .
National team
Diaz took part with Sweden's U-19 national team in the 2012 U-19 European Women's Football Championship and scored two goals in the course of the tournament. After a few appearances in Sweden's U-23 national team, she made her debut on April 5, 2014 in a World Cup qualifier against Northern Ireland in the Swedish national team . In May 2015 she was nominated as the youngest Swedish player for the 2015 World Cup. But she was not used and her team was eliminated without her participation in the round of 16 against Germany .
On September 22, 2015, she scored her first international goal in the European Championship qualifier against Poland .
