Verónica Boquete Giadans (born April 9, 1987 in Santiago de Compostela ) is a Spanish soccer player .

Career

Spain

Boquete began playing football at the age of 14 at Xuventú Aguiño , a club based in Galicia in northwestern Spain. After four seasons, she was committed in 2005 by Prainsa Zaragoza , the club based in the Aragonese capital of the same name , for which she played 83 league games in three seasons and achieved a remarkable rate with 40 goals.

In doing so, she caught the attention of Espanyol Barcelona , who hired her for their women's football department. For this team, too, she proved to be extremely accurate with 30 goals in 53 league games and won the Queen's Cup with her in 2009 and 2010 .

United States and Spain

After the overseas interlude in 2010 in the USL W-League , the second highest division in US women's football, at Buffalo Flash and in the Women's Professional Soccer League with the Chicago Red Stars , she returned to Espanyol Barcelona.
