Katherine Nicole Stengel (born February 29, 1992 in Montgomery ) is an American football player . She is under contract with Utah Royals FC in the US National Women's Soccer League .

Career

During her studies at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem , North Carolina played, Stalk of 2010 to 2013 as the University team that Wake Forest Demon Deacons, and was in 2013 the W-League - Franchise Pali Blues (only in Play -offs ) and in the following year their successor Los Angeles Blues . Stengel then moved to league rivals Boston Breakers . For the 2017/18 season she moved to the Newcastle United Jets in the W-League , the top division in Australian women's football.

She has been a member of Utah Royals FC since the beginning of the 2018 season . She made her debut on March 24, 2018 (1st matchday) in a 1-1 home game against Orlando Pride , substituting for Elise Thorsnes in the 62nd minute.

National team

Stengel made his debut in the US Football Association's U-20 national team in 2011 and won the 2012 World Cup with them . She took part with the U-23 national team in the six-nation tournament in La Manga and played the international games in the 1-0 win over Japan on March 1 and in the 2-1 win over Sweden on March 3 March and in the 2-1 win against Norway, where they scored the 2-0 goal in the 75th minute. A little later she was appointed to the senior national team for the first time .
