Carolyn Jane Campbell (born February 17, 1995 in Kennesaw , Georgia ) is an American soccer goalkeeper .
Career
societies
During her studies at Stanford University , Campbell played for the Stanford Cardinal team there from 2013 to 2016 . In parallel, she played in the summer of 2013 for the Atlanta Silverbacks team in the W-League .
At the beginning of 2017, Campbell was signed in the second round of the college draft of the NWSL in position 15 of the Houston Dash franchise . She made her league debut there on April 22, 2017 in a 5-1 away defeat at Seattle Reign FC .
National team
In 2010 Campell made his debut in the United States U-15 national team, but was promoted to the U-17 national team at the age of 15 in the same year. In January 2013, she was the youngest ever goalkeeper and the first high school player since attacker Amy Rodriguez in 2005, to attend a training camp for the United States national team, but initially remained without an international appearance. Campbell made three appearances for the US U-20 national team in 2013 and 2014 , including winning the 2014 CONCACAF U-20 Championship . She then played in seven games for the U-23 national team from 2015 to 2016. On April 9, 2017, Campbell made her debut in a friendly against Russia as a substitute for Ashlyn Harris for the United States national team.
