Mallori Mthandi Lofton-Malachi (born September 16, 1987 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania ) is an American football goalkeeper.
Life
Lofton-Malachi was born in Pennsylvania to a Kenyan and an American . There she attended Central High School in Philadelphia from 2001 to 2005 and then studied exercise physiology at the University of South Florida from 2005 to 2009 .
Career in the club
Lofton-Malachi started her career at West Chester United SC and played alongside from 2003 to 2005 for the Central Lancers, the Central High's women soccer team. After graduating from high school, she played on the USF Bulls women's soccer team. During her time with the Bulls, she played for the Tampa Bay Hellenic in the WPSL during the semester break. In the spring of 2010, she signed in the Women's Professional Soccer at the Atlanta Beat . In March 2011 she left the USA for the first time and signed with Þróttur Reykjavík in Iceland . At the end of 2011 she signed on the Åland Islands with Åland United and played 23 games in the Naisten Liiga. On February 7, 2013, she then signed in the 2nd Bundesliga with SC Sand and rose as a regular goalkeeper, at the end of the 2013/2014 season, with her team in the Allianz Women's Bundesliga .
