Malo Juri Guillaume Valérien (born December 1, 1992 ) is a German basketball player . He was last in the squad of SC Rist Wedel . He is the grandson of former sports reporter Harry Valérien, who died in 2012 .

career

Valérien played for SV Germering before he switched to the basketball boarding school of the Urspring School and made his debut in the shirt of the Ehingen / Urspring syndicate in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB during the 2010/11 season . In 2012 he moved to FC Bayern Munich , made three short appearances in the basketball league during the 2012/13 season , but was mostly used in the second men's team of FCB in the regional league. He was named the best defender of the 2013/14 season in the 1st Regionalliga South-East by the basketball service eurobasket.com . In 2014 Valérien left FCB, followed by two years with Munich regional league team TSV Oberhaching and one year with TuS Bad Aibling (also regional league).

In the run-up to the 2017/18 game year he was signed by the Nürnberg Falcons BC ( 2nd Bundesliga ProA ). In August 2018 he moved to SC Rist Wedel in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB. He stayed there for a season. In April 2019 he was appointed to the German "3-on-3" national team and took part in the qualifying games for the World Cup and the European Championship in Puerto Rico, among others .
