The Manaslu Circuit is a trekking route ( long-distance hiking trail ) around the Manaslu mountain range in the Nepalese Himalayas , it also circles the epicenter of the earthquake of 2015 with Barpak .

The starting point of the long-distance hiking trail is Aarughat ( 480  m ), 20 km east of the district capital Gorkha . The path leads up the Budhigandaki via Lho to Samagaun . This section offers a detour to the remote Tsum Valley . To the west of Samagaun you cross the 5,125  m high Larkya La mountain pass and descend to the west into the river valley of the Dudh Khola . At Thoche one reaches the Marsyangdi . There the Annapurna circular route branches off into the Manang Valley. The route now goes downstream to Besisahar .

Usually the route is done in 14-18 days. Since inns and camps are now continuously available, there are no major logistical challenges, but various permits and a licensed mountain guide ("guide") are mandatory. The main travel season is in autumn between October and the beginning of December and in spring between March and April.
