Mandy Hering (born March 11, 1984 in Wilhelm-Pieck-Stadt-Guben ) is a former German handball player .

Career

Hering started playing handball at HV Guben at the age of nine. From 1998 the 1.70 m tall left winger was under contract with the Frankfurt handball club . At the age of 16, she made the leap into the Bundesliga team of Frankfurt HC. She ended her career in the summer of 2012.

Mandy Hering made her international debut on November 9, 2002 in Minden against Romania. She completed 85 games for the German national team , in which she scored 156 goals. She was part of the German national team for the 2009 Women's Handball World Championship in China , where they finished 7th.
