Attractions
- The main attraction is the two-storey domed tomb for the Sufi saint Makhdoom Yahya Maneri , which was completed in 1616 and is also known as Bari Dargah (“great shrine”) . While the architecture of the tomb as a whole looks equally imposing and yet light, little emphasis was placed on decorative details. There is a walled pond on the north side of the mausoleum.
- In the immediate vicinity is the tomb of Makhdoom Shah Daulat , the most important disciple, called Choti Dargah ("small shrine") .
- The graves in the cemetery in front are covered with brightly colored cloths; Here, too, students of the Sufi master are buried.
- Ibrahim Khan, the then governor ( subahdar ) of Bihar, also built a mosque in the town center just a few years later. He himself only received a simple grave in the cemetery.
