Manfred Böcker

Manfred Böcker (born March 14, 1940 in Essen ) is a German politician and former member of the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament of the SPD .

Life and work

After attending elementary school and high school with a high school diploma , he was a soldier in the Air Force from 1958 to 1962 . Böcker then studied pedagogy at the Bielefeld University of Education and passed the state examinations for teaching at primary and secondary schools. He then worked in school until 1980, most recently as vice-principal of the Augustdorf secondary school.

He joined the SPD in 1969. He is active in numerous bodies of the party, such as B. as a member of the SPD district executive committee Ostwestfalen-Lippe. Böcker is a member of the Education and Science Union .

From May 29, 1980 to June 2, 2005, Böcker was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .
