Manfred Belok
Manfred Belok (born January 12, 1952 in Schüttorf ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian .
Life
Belok studied Roman Catholic theology from 1973 to 1979 at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster and at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau . From 1977 to 1981 he studied education at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster with a focus on “extracurricular youth and adult education”. From 1999 to 2004 he was professor for pastoral theology and theology of the preaching at the Catholic University of North Rhine-Westphalia , department Paderborn. Since September 19, 2003, Belok has been Professor of Pastoral Theology and Homiletics at the Theological University in Chur . He is a signatory of the memorandum “ Church 2011: A Necessary Awakening ”.
